I am so glad you visited my blog! I am Cecelia and am thrilled you visited. Besides being a teacher, I am a mom to two great young adults. My youngest has autism and I am a huge advocate for him. I am a firm believer in high expectations! My daughter is finishing up nursing school in Nevada. We love to visit her in the desert every chance we get.
Teaching is my second career. I had always wanted to be a teacher but did not go to college for it. After graduating college and working at a tech company in Boston, I knew my heart was not in it. I went back to college to get my teaching license.
I have been teaching for 28 years. I have taught in New York, New Jersey and Colorado. Currently, I am teaching first grade in Aurora, Colorado. I LOVE 1st grade!!
