Digital Phonics for First Grade R CONTROLLED VOWELS

First grade phonics activities on Seesaw and Google Slides. This phonics unit teaches all about r controlled vowels. Through a variety of engaging phonics activities students will learn about r controlled vowels and practice segmenting and blending words with r controlled vowels. Students will read stories that contain words with r controlled vowels.

Activities include:

• segmenting and spelling words with r controlled vowels
• dragging the missing r controlled vowel in a given word
