First Grade Math Measurement and Data and Geometry Digital and Printable

Students will:

• order three objects by length
• measure using different units
• tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks
• organize, represent, and interpret data; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another
• distinguish shapes between defining attributes, build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes
• compose two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional shapes to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape
• partition shapes into equal parts

THIS PRODUCT HAS MULTIPLE USES

1.Intervention– The teacher can teach {or reteach} concept. Students can practice responding orally or with support. This is a great way to build confidence with students who are not yet understanding a concept.

2. Homework – Students should be able to do these activities independently once a concept is taught.

3.Independent Work During Math Centers or Daily Math – Once a standard is taught, students should be able to complete these activities with little or no support.

4. Whole Class Work – These activities would be a perfect supplement to any math program teaching CCSS.
