There are four weeks worth of lesson plans! This month’s focus is Character Traits which will be assessed the 4th week. Students also compare and contrast similar books, author’s purpose, determining importance, learn about paraphrasing, practice retell, make connections and inferences.
Original nonfiction and fiction texts are included with this unit. The nonfiction texts include stunning photographs and nonfiction text features such as labels, captions, titles, maps, diagrams, table of contents, etc.
