First grade phonics activities on Seesaw and Google Slides. This phonics unit reviews letter sounds, and introduces segmenting and blending. Through a variety of engaging phonics activities students will learn or review all of the consonants and long and short vowels, and practice segmenting and blending of letter sounds to take apart or make words.
Activities include:
-videos teaching letter sounds
-identifying the beginning sound
-segmenting sounds to build words
-blending sounds and finding a picture of that word
-reading sentences and typing in the missing CVC word
