Digital Phonics for First Grade Unit 4 Long Vowels SEESAW AND GOOGLE CLASSROOM

First grade phonics activities on Seesaw and Google Slides. This phonics unit reviews long vowels. Through a variety of engaging phonics activities students will learn about silent e, and practice segmenting and blending words with long vowels to take apart or make words. Students will read stories that contain long vowels.

Activities include:

• videos teaching long vowels (a_e, i_e, o_e, u_e, ee, ea)
• identifying the long vowels
• segmenting sounds to build words
• blending sounds and finding a picture of that word
• reading sentences and typing in the missing word that has a long vowels
• reading stories with long vowels
